We are a six-member Ecuadorian family spanning different generations. We love traveling, nature, meeting new people, and above all, sharing our culture and way of life.
Our family brings together experience and knowledge in tourism, hospitality, logistics, economics, and gastronomy, while some of our family members are currently pursuing university studies. We speak Spanish, English, and German.
We want staying with us to be more than simply finding a place to sleep. It is an opportunity to experience everyday life with an Ecuadorian family and discover Quito from a local perspective, in a welcoming, respectful, and family-oriented environment.
During your stay, you are welcome to join some of our everyday activities at no additional cost, if you wish. These may include cooking together, visiting local markets, walking our pets, taking photographs, sharing family moments, or enjoying easy walks and short treks of around one hour. Participation is always optional.
We also enjoy sharing our food and, whenever possible, can adapt meals to our guests’ preferences. We have experience preparing Ecuadorian, vegetarian, and macrobiotic-inspired cuisine.
We are happy to help our guests discover Quito, including its Historic Center, local markets, gastronomy, viewpoints, culture, and surrounding nature.
For those who would like to discover Ecuador in greater depth, we also offer optional professional tours and experiences at an additional cost, which can be tailored to different interests: nature, mountains, trekking, culture, archaeology, gastronomy, art, ancestral cultures, and selected holistic and wellness experiences.
Some tours can be accompanied by Daniel, a professional tour guide with experience in mountains, trekking, nature, and ancestral cultures.
Our goal is simple: to give you the opportunity to experience Ecuador from within — through its people, flavors, landscapes, traditions, and everyday life.
